This is a replacement touch glass (touchscreen digitizer) for the ABB FlexPendant. It is the outer glass layer that registers finger input on the pendant's screen. Over time this surface can crack, scratch or stop responding due to drops, welding splatter or general wear in the workshop.
Replacing just the touch glass is a cost-effective way to restore a pendant whose display still works but whose touch input is damaged — far cheaper than replacing the entire FlexPendant.
